We've been examining fractions. What do they look like, how do we find equivalence, how do we show them on a number line, and what do they mean? Turns our fractions are everywhere. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ran a campaign to show how many kids are not riding in the proper car seat. The graphs should show that 3/4 of kids are in the wrong seat. Their ads are eye catching, but we found the graphs and fractions to be very confusing.
