The Gratitude Project is just the best. We love writing letters just for the sake of reaching out and saying hello! Let's all add a little sunshine to this world. So, science is neat! Did you know you can start a fire with a 9 volt battery and steel wool. Now that we're comfortable with fractions, we're finding our way around decimals (specifically tenths and hundredths). Base ten blocks and money are really helpful tools. We've been learning all about the Native Americans that lived and live in Colorado! These presentation will go into our big virtual Colorado museum!
We've been loving fractions. We're using fraction circles, benchmarks, and diagrams to compare fractions with different denominators. It's especially important when we're talking about sharing pizza or other delicious food equally! Today we enjoyed exploring equivalent fractions with fraction circles and partners!
