Conversions are tricky, but oh so useful. We've been looking at volume and weight lately. Can you convert between gallons, quarts, pints, and cups? How about pounds and ounces?
We ended the day with a little Oregon Trail...because that's where we're going in social studies after break...and we might have winter break fever!
What a fun day to celebrate each other! We loved reading the thoughtful comments our friends wrote to us...and we enjoyed the sugar too!
Today in guidance, we took a deeper look at the word sorry. We all make mistakes, but when we apologize for our words or actions, we cannot take them back. We can make amends, but those wounds may never fully heal. We're trying to live by the words, "Don't be sorry. Be better!"
Somehow it's already February, and we're three Ski for PEs down, two to go.
We love getting to eat lunch in the classroom before we ski! We've been practicing sub traction with the standard algorithm. We're spending extra time practicing when there are lots of zeros on the top. If you need a refresher or want to practice at home, check out this video with your child. |
