We've been examining fractions. What do they look like, how do we find equivalence, how do we show them on a number line, and what do they mean? Turns our fractions are everywhere.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ran a campaign to show how many kids are not riding in the proper car seat. The graphs should show that 3/4 of kids are in the wrong seat.
Their ads are eye catching, but we found the graphs and fractions to be very confusing.
So, we decided to use our new knowledge to help them out and make our own.
