There are many ways to make the number ten! You can write number sentences (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division). Can you use a picture to help you make ten? Today we used quick images (kind of like the game memory). We re-created images of ten dots and then came up with number sentences that matched the pictures. We checked out our caterpillars this morning. And then again this afternoon. And HOLY COW...Do they look bigger to you too? We also discussed the life cycle a little more so we knew when to expect our little caterpillars to start to form a chrysalis. Here's the general time frame...
