We had the pleasure of "visiting" the History Colorado Center in Denver to learn more about past industries of Colorado, specifically mining. We took a look into the mine in Silverton known as the Top of the World (at about 10,000 feet). We learned about the dangers of mining, but how with a lot of hard work miners provided for their families with a living wage of $2-5 a day.
