This week our reporter shared all the information about the newly created YouTube age restrictions. The timing could not have been better because we are feeling the impacts here in the classroom. YouTube was getting in trouble for breaching privacy and using kids personal information for advertisement placement. In order to try to protect kids and help their image, YouTube is now enforcing a strict age restriction of 13 and up for all YouTube content. YouTube is consequently now blocked on all student accessed school computers. We can see both sides of the argument, but we're missing music videos and how to draw tutorials.
